ftpd - File Transfer Protocol server.
SYNOPSIS
ftpd [/OPTION/…]
DESCRIPTION
File Transfer Protocol daemon.
- -4, –ipv4
- restrict daemon to IPv4
- -6, –ipv6
- restrict daemon to IPv6
- -a, *–auth*=/AUTH/
- use AUTH for authentication
- -A, –anonymous-only
- server configured for anonymous service only
- -d, –debug
- debug mode
- -D, –daemon
- start the ftpd standalone
- -l, –logging
- increase verbosity of syslog messages
- –non-rfc2577
- neglect RFC 2577 by giving info on missing users
- -p, –pidfile[=/PIDFILE/]
- change default location of pidfile
- -q, –no-version
- do not display version in banner
- -t, *–timeout*=/TIMEOUT/
- set default idle timeout
- -T, *–max-timeout*=/MAX_TIMEOUT/
- set maximum value of timeout allowed
- -u, *–umask*=/VAL/
set default umask
AUTH can be one of the following:
- default
- passwd authentication
- -?, –help
- give this help list
- –usage
- give a short usage message
- -V, –version
- print program version
