Streaming Archive Library (libarchive, -larchive)

The function

returns and the function

sets the type of the symbolic link stored in an archive entry. These functions have special meaning on operating systems that support multiple symbolic link types (e.g. Microsoft Windows).

Supported values are:

Symbolic link target type is not defined (default on unix systems)

Symbolic link points to a file

Symbolic link points to a directory
