NAME

rcp - Remote copy

SYNOPSIS

rcp [/OPTION/…] SOURCE DEST
rcp [/OPTION/…] SOURCEDIRECTORY
rcp [/OPTION/…] –target-directory=DIRECTORY SOURCE

DESCRIPTION

Remote copy SOURCE to DEST, or multiple SOURCE(s) to DIRECTORY.

-4, –ipv4
use only IPv4
-6, –ipv6
use only IPv6
-d, –target-directory[=/DIRECTORY/]
copy all SOURCE arguments into DIRECTORY
-f, –from
copying from remote host (server use only)
-p, –preserve
attempt to preserve (duplicate) in its copies the modification times and modes of the source files
-r, –recursive
if any of the source files are directories, copies each subtree rooted at that name; in this case the destination must be a directory
-t, –to
copying to remote host (server use only)
-?, –help
give this help list
–usage
give a short usage message
-V, –version
print program version

Mandatory or optional arguments to long options are also mandatory or optional for any corresponding short options.
